Alex Nickon, a long time chemistry professor at JHU passed away in March 2021 at the age of 94 a victim of the COVID pandemic. Alex arrived at Hopkins in 1955 and rose through the ranks becoming the Vernon K. Krieble Professor in 1975. He retired in 1994 to spend more time with his family.
