Congratulations to Professor Thomas Kempa (Chemistry) and Professor Amy Foster (Electrical and Computer Engineering) on receiving a Johns Hopkins Discovery Award! These awards are meant to stimulate the development of important, new research areas by cross-divisional teams at Johns Hopkins. Professors Kempa and Foster will work on developing next-generation optical fibers for high-speed data networks.
