Dr. Fairbrother and Dr. Hernandez have been conducting extensive research on nanomaterials. More specifically, the role these particles and materials play in eradicating current environmental challenges while not creating new obstacles in the long term. Their research has been supported by a National Science Foundation grant through the Division of Chemistry and they have been renewed for another five years of support.
