As the world is adjusting to life combating the COVID-19 virus, instructors at many Maryland universities are required to transition their courses to online instruction for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester. Dr. Jamie Young, along with other esteemed colleagues, are featured in a Baltimore Sun article that outlines the big steps and challenges universities are facing as they take on these momentous accommodations so quickly.
Dr. Young is the newest teaching faculty member of the Johns Hopkins University chemistry department and has been a tremendous addition to the department from his course Science of Color to becoming the sole instructor for all of the introductory chemistry laboratory sections.
