The Goldberg Group Publishes in JACS

The Goldberg Group reports a series of sequentially formed peroxo(diiron), FeIV(O), and FeIII(OH) complexes from the reaction of a thiolate-ligated nonheme iron complex with O2. These complexes improve our understanding of the fundamental process of dioxygen activation by iron complexes and the related sulfur-ligated nonheme iron enzymes.
