2018 Graduate Student Awards and Fellowships

On behalf of the Awards Committee (Professors Dagdigian and Yarkony), I am pleased to announce the following student awards and fellowships. Please join me in congratulating the awardees on their outstanding accomplishments.

Sarah and Adolph Roseman Achievement Award – $1000, in recognition of outstanding research accomplishment in chemistry.
2018 Awardee – Gaoxiang Liu

Alexander Kossiakoff Award – $1,000 in recognition of outstanding research accomplishment in chemistry, awarded to a student in his/her last year of study.
2018 Awardee – Jennifer Morey

Ernest M. Marks Award – $1,000, in recognition of teaching excellence.
2018 Awardee – Heidi van de Wouw

Harry and Cleio Greer Fellowship – one full year support (stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus 10% stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year graduate student.
2018 Awardee – Avery Baumann

Rudolph Sonneborn Fellowship – one full year support (stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus 10% stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year graduate student.
2018 Awardees – Zuodong Sun and Eric Marro

Langmuir-Cresap Research Award – one full year support (stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus 10% stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year graduate student involved in physical chemistry research.
2018 Awardee – Sandra Ciborowski

Gary H. Posner Fellowship in Organic Chemistry – three months support (25% of stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus a $1000 stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year graduate student involved in synthetic organic chemistry research.
2018 Awardee – Justin DeFrancisco

Ada Sinz Hill Fellowship – three months support (25% of stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus a $1000 stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year female graduate student.
2018 Awardee – Xu Han

Eugene W. and Susan C. Zeltman Fellowship – three months support (25% of stipend, tuition, health insurance) plus a $1000 stipend supplement beginning June 1, 2018, to be awarded to an outstanding advanced-year graduate student.
