Congrats to department alumna Herdeline Ann “Digs” Ardoña (PhD from the Tovar group) who was named as one of 2025’s “Talented Twelve” by Chemical and Engineering News.  Each year, this feature recognizes “a dozen early-career scientists who use their chemistry know-how to make a real-world impact.”  Digs is currently an assistant professor at UC Irvine.  She joins fellow JHU alumna Nicole Gaudelli (PhD from the Townsend group) who received this honor in 2018.  Congratulations Digs!
