Undergraduate Chemistry Major Awarded PURA Award

PURA is the Provost’s Undergraduate Research Award that was created in 1993 by Provost Joseph Cooper. Each year this award is given out to a handful of undergraduate students to help promote and aid independent research along with scholarly and creative projects. One of the recipients this year is an undergraduate chemistry major, Elizabeth Mensah with her mentor Ana Damjanovic for her project titled Free Energy of Defect Formation in Membranes by Antimicrobial Peptides.

Congrats, Elizabeth!
