The Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA) has named Dr. Hernandez as the 2020 Cottrell IMPACT award recipient. The IMPACT award recognizes the work of a Cottrell Scholar (Dr. Hernandez was named a Cottrell Scholar in 1999) who has had national impact in science through leadership and service activities.
