Marc Greenberg and J.D. Tovar Receive Johns Hopkins Discovery Awards

Congratulations to Professors Greenberg and Tovar for receiving 2017 Discovery Awards! The Discovery Award is a new funding program to foster innovative, collaborative research at Johns Hopkins University. Professor Greenberg’s project, “Uncovering Poly(ADP-ribose) Biology in Non-membranous Structures” (collaborators: Professors Sua Myong and Anthony Leung), is one of only 3 Category 2 proposals selected for funding. Professor Tovar’s project, “Engineering plasticity after stroke to promote recovery using peptide π-electron hydrogels” (collaborators: Professors Ryan Felling, Steven Zeiler, and Hai-Quan Mao), is one of only 23 Category 1 awards.
